Grinder/Recycler Operator

KTS recycles all tree removal/pruning debris from our daily operations through our Vermeer HG 6000 Grinder, which produces landscape quality mulch products.

In order to qualify for this position, mechanical experience is required.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Operation of the Grinder/Recycler
• Maintenance and servicing of the Grinder
• Operation of Wheel Loader including maintenance and servicing

This position is full-time, year-round. All company benefits are available.

Director of Field Operations and Training

Requirements:

• I.S.A. Certified Arborist
• I.S.A. Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist
• Class A, C.D.L. with Air Brakes
• IL. Pesticides Applicators License
• Strong Understanding of the A.N.S.I. Standards for Tree Care Operations
• Strong Background of Modern Climbing Techniques and Equipment
• Strong Background of Modern Rigging Equipment and Techniques
• Strong Background of Crane Removals
• Ability to Operate Various Tree Related Equipment

Responsibilities

• Train Field Crew of 30 Workers on Safe Working Procedures
• Train Field Crews on Proper Arboriculture
• Purchase,Supply and Track all Equipment and Tools for Field Crews
• Manage all Power Tools for Field Crews
• Help Coordinate Personnel and Equipment on Technical Jobs
• Train Personnel on Safe Equipment Operations
