Mark Your Calenders for A Relaxing and Educational Outdoor Event!

Illinois Arborist Associations 2009 Tree Climbing Competition will be held on Saturday, September 26th. Starting at 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m? The event this year will be held at beautiful Cantigny Park located at 1 S 151 Winfield Rd., Wheaton, IL.

No need to pack picnic lunch as Mike Kurkjian and Tim Rickerson, two of our Certified Arborist Representatives will be the Grill Masters of the event. We will be asking for a donation to benefit the International Society of Arboriculture Dynamics Fund. Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Bring your entire family for an inexpensive day of entertainment which includes the climbing competition events for men and women climbers, such as, Aerial Rescue, Work Climb, Speed Climb, Belayed Speed Climb and Secured Footlock Climb, and last but not least the masters challenge event.

This year thanks to Cantigny Park staff, including Todd Henderson (Illinois Certified Arborist), the kids – boys and girls (not you Dad!) will have an opportunity to participate in the Lumberjack program with an obstacle course and pint-sized harnesses for climbing.

KTS climbers are Todd Kramer, Jason Diehl and Jose Mondragon – KTS will also defend the ComEd Corporate Cup displayed in our office, which demonstrates the value of teamwork.

All events will be held in the Campground Area just west of the main parking lots.
